These panels will only fit on a size 1 seat. The extended forward part will shift the saddle back about an inch from the horse’s shoulders, giving extra room for wider dorsal spinal processes over the wither, or helping balance a smaller rider on a bigger horse. As these are the Short version, they still have a 17” bearing surface. They are DD panels, so have the extra depth at the front to help with horses that have significant hollows behind their shoulders.
