DWG size 1 tabbed panels

£300.00

DWG Tabbed Panels

Key Specifications

  • Size 1 panels

  • D (Standard Depth) front profile

  • Wide Gullet (WG)

  • Tabbed

  • Tapered panel profile (formerly Stitchline)

  • Colour: Black

Condition

Used – older panels with slight fading to the rear gussets, but the leather remains soft and has been well maintained for their age.

Description

These DWG panels combine a standard front profile with a wide gullet channel and a tabbed design, making them particularly well suited to horses with very low withers.

The D (Standard Depth) front profile provides a standard level of support at the front of the saddle.

The Wide Gullet (WG) provides good clearance through the spine.

The tabbed design allows the panels to sit lower around the horse, which can improve stability on broader, more barrel-shaped horses where maintaining saddle stability can be more challenging.

The tapered panel profile (formerly known as Stitchline) is designed to follow the shape of the shoulder, allowing the panel to sit neatly behind the scapula while maintaining even support.

Additional Information

Not sure whether standard or tabbed panels would be the better option for your horse? We'd be happy to talk you through the differences and work with you and your fitter to find the best options for you and your horse.
